Meet OH Range: Valley City's Home for Shooting Sports

We’re OH Range, a clay shooting sports facility that has proudly served the Valley City community for over 43 years. Locally owned by Tim and Diana Logan, OH Range is built on a passion for shooting sports and a commitment to welcoming everyone who walks through our gates. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or have been shooting your whole life, there’s a place for you here. We offer Trap, Skeet, and Five-Stand, and we welcome shooters of all skill levels in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment.

You can find us just outside of town at 3504 117th Ave SE. We’re currently open on Tuesday nights from 4:30 PM until close, and starting in May, we’ll also be open on Friday nights with the same hours.

We’re also thrilled to announce that starting in May, we’ll be launching an 8–10 week Trap League. Teams will consist of five shooters, and pre-made teams are welcome. Don’t have a full team? No problem—we’ll match you with one! More details will be coming soon, so stay tuned.

Alongside our shooting disciplines, we offer a range of amenities to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable, including restrooms, a heated and air-conditioned range office, cold beverages, ice cream treats, and more.

OH Range is also the proud home of two outstanding shooting sports teams:

• The Valley City High School Clay Target Team (VCHS), coached by Sandi Mielke, has been a strong presence in the community for over a decade. Competing in all three disciplines we offer, the team continues to grow each season.

• The VCSU Shooting Sports Team, led by students and guided by Nick Galt, has been active for the past five years and competes in both Trap and Skeet.

We’re proud to support local athletes and help grow the future of shooting sports right here in Valley City.
